BTW, I now watched the 4th season of Nip/Tuck. It is a hilarious season and quite exciting.

But, what’cha gonna do if you even look miserably bad after trying photographic tricks like not showing your “ugly spots?” Well, there always is a way-out-plan in our society. Photography can point out a fairly uncomfortable truth, can’t it? So what do maniac, bad Photoshoppers do? They overuse the power of this tool and what’s the result? Embarrassing bad work. like bad news (what a Modest Mouse reference) like conspiracy and deception about oh so accidental natural deaths, Terry Hatcher (and not just because she was Superman’s first choice), (somewhat) black humor evoked by acts of hypocrisy and backstabbing cellulite moms everybody would like to fool around with, and suburban garage sales where middle age women want to get rid of, say the waffle iron that turned out to be useful when killing their husband who they caught cheating with the 16-year-old babysitter with braces.

Guess what, Desperate Housewives are back on TV in good old Austria. Isn’t that exciting. They will start on 11 February, 9:05 pm. Do NOT miss it, since it will clear up a lot of the masterpiece cliffhanger finale of season three. No way, I won’t give anything away of what’s happening in the fourth season of the TV series with my favorite middle-aged suburban women. Let’s just hope that the author’s strike in America (WGA- Writers’ Guild America) is over soon, so the holding out for new episodes of Desperate Housewives is not as long as the wait in front of the Finding Nemo Ride in Disneyland (I hear, it’s good, though).

Oh, how could I forget Grey’s Anatomy is back too. I just decided that this series contains to much drama, drama and – oh did I mention – drama! This ever running on-and-off thing that Mrs Drama and MacDramaDreamy are practicing can be watched on Mondays too, after Desperate Housewives: 9:55 pm.

Goodbye Housewives — You made my Monday evening so colorful in such a crazy fashion. Hope you come back soon and ORF gets them back on air as soon as possible. Here are some quotations that will make me miss that witty TV show. Make sure you don’t miss the season’s finale on ORF 1 (21:05).

Dadurch, dass ich jetzt Arbeit gefunden habe (diese Karteikartengrafik ist wahr!), merke ich erst richtig wie schön man sich am Abend auf die eigenen vier Wände freut. Das Prime-Time-Programm des ORFs ist ja schon einmal ein nettes Ziel, dass sich ansteuern lässt. Warum? Im Herbst 2007 gibt’s die erfolgreichen US-amerikanischen Sendungen im TV mit neuen Staffeln und somit sind selbst bei mir schon ein paar Abende ausgebucht: Desperate Housewives, Monk, Grey’s Anatomy, Weeds & Co!Das Bild auf der linken rechten Seite warnt dich… Bitte beachte, dass Serien süchtig machen können und nur teure Rehabs dich heilen können!!!

Hab’ euch heute wieder ein supertolles Lied mitgebracht: Juicy von Better Than Ezra (iTunes Link in den US Store – wer es nur hören will, schaut sich das Video von den deshives an)
Und zwar ist es ein beatiges Lied, dass für Entspannung sorgt und bei bestimmter Anwendung (Promotion-Video dritte Staffel Desperate Houswives - Aching for Perfection, Longing for Truth – Ich find die Werbung so leiwand!) für die richtige Spannung. Wer so ein kloiner Freak ist wie ich, weiß dass die 3. Staffel bald vorbei sein wird, aber das macht ja nichts, weil auf Prosieben und hoffentlich auch auf ORF wird die nächste Staffel sofort, jap rambazamba, angehängt.
Ich sags gleich, wer Desperate Houswives nicht mag, total egal, das Lied geht einfach nur ab (für die Anti-deshives gibt’s hier eine Parodie von den Weibern aus der Westeria Lane).

Viele Leute wollen Ordnung, System und Einteilung im Leben. Ja, wer will das nicht? Wäre da nicht dieser überdurchschnittliche aufzubringender Aufwand Ordnung zu halten, bezubehalten und zu durchdenken. Hier hab ich von dieser netten kleinen Dame links, ein paar nette Einteilungen auf ihrem Blog gefunden, die durchaus Sinn machen, zum Schmunzeln anregen sollten, und vielleicht den einen oder anderen helfen… Auf ihrer Homepage gibt’s noch viele mehr (Wenn man nicht alle versteht, isses wirklich nicht schlimm, einfach leo.org verwenden…)!
