In late June (obviously the iPhone month in the US) a new generation of beggers has emerged. Unlike homeless people living in the streets, these people already have what they wanted. Too bad their iPhone (first generation, obviously) now is “so last year.” A point that gets rough on them. An explanation for this and even more, after the jump.

That “Typical Friday”

Jane had this smart idea to keep track of what brands she interacts on a typical Friday. It’s one of these ideas that every modern blogger picks up and is really mad at himself/herself for not coming up with this on his/her own. In fact, this method is quite interesting to think of brands you encounter on a daily basis.

The toothbrush company? Google? The supermarket you buy that lunch from? The cigarettes you smoke? Try to think of all the brands you are encountering right now? Your computer company is quite obvious (duh! I want “duh” to be a brand, quite honestly owned by me and I’d charge 5 cents per usage and get rich from obnoxious cheerleaders) but there are way more logos that surround you that you don’t necessarily have to be aware of.

Technical gadgets can be quite confusing. Digital cameras look like cellphones, cellphones look like iPods, and iPods look like remote controls. However, be aware, that an iPod shuffle is good for music and music only, and not to test your pregnancy status. No, no.

It’s really bad and, yeah, tragic how they stereotype blondes nowadays.

Now it seems quite reasonable to me that they changed the shaped of the iPod shuffle since the generation 2 update.

The title of today’s blog entry is quite self-explanatory. After having experienced “minor challenges” (see the PR Lady spot of Mac vs. PC) with my new Macbook’s screen (the viewing angle’s quality was bitchy), the “Apple Care Dude” and I decided to replace it with a whole new one. It is a bummer having the amount of money in mind I paid for it (I am getting a new one, next week on Thursday). However, writing that entry now sort of serves several purposes.

SAN FRANCISCO – “The Beat Goes On” was the ultimate slogan for Apple’s music event on wednesday. In Moscone Center (the usual Apple presentation hall), Steve Jobs was pulling out numerous cool new iPod-ish devices. Apart from majorly updating the whole iPod line up, Apple introduced a new iPhone-like iPod, called iPod touch. Oh and of course something scandalous happened in the end!

Good I bought it weeks ago… Well, at least I had a nice Christmas Eve….But the orange one… It is to die for… (this is an inside joke with me and my every myself!)

The orange one.... "Musikfans haben nun die Wahl aus fünf verschiedenen Farben - und wer sich nicht entscheiden kann, nimmt einfach alle."

Update: I already lost my grey iPod shuffle. Currently replaced by an iPod classic 80 gigs. But somehow I think I need this little friend for Ubahn rides and stuff.
