Together, We’re Schizophrenic

[...] Ich bin die kleine Schwester die mich dafür hasst (even more WTF?!) [...] Ich bin Maria [...] etc.

Remember my notes on the acquisition of One by Orange? Whereas their spots have sort of refreshed the Austrian “Werbelandschaft” (DE, commercial landscape), I call out for a little change of their slogan which will cause a sudden urge of identification in several additonal Austrians’ minds. Instead of “Zusammen sind wir mehr” (DE, together we are more), I’d go for a “Together, we’re schizophrenic.” I came up with this idea in an interesting state of mind during the Indie Club in Avalon, Krems. Heard “In Five Years Time” and the people surrounding me simultaneously went “Ich bin Klaus.”

I am pretty much everyone. Take that!

My mommy (I) and me (also I)... I am pretty much everyone. Take that!

How about that? Also I wonder what Freud would say about the above quoted statements of the guy who claims to be several personalities he came across with in life and further people he will encounter later in future. Maternal issues? Guess so (since the ad starts with his mother coddling him).

Final note: A lot of German youngest come to Austria to study. No news in that, but I saw dozens of German accented people in the Bim (AUT: tram) babbling on their orange square branded cell or at least talking about signing this plan since it will save multiple Euros.

Die Fälscher im Open Air Kino

3. Juli. Freiluftkino (Open Air Display) in der Kremser Filmgalerie. ImKino beim Kesselhaus – Filmgalerie.

Continue reading

Eventually, My Macbook

Finally, I can put up my report on the Macbook. After some issues with the display and the correct color schemes, I am now typing on a brand new Macbook Late 2007. Compared to my older Powermac G4 (I found a promising new owner for it), the new Core 2 Duo processor (Santa Rosa chip, I hear) runs amazingly fast. Today’s review is dedicated to everything that is related to my new Macbook. For a Leopard review, check back next week. Continue reading

I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’

Buuuuut I don’t feel like dancin’ when the (>>Lyrics+Videoausschnitt à la YouTube)…. Also wer von überall ein bisschen was will, sollte doch glatt mal zuschlagen. Continue reading

A key that has been left behind by Oscar’s dad gets an important role in Oskar’s life. He finds that said key in an envelope addressed to Black. Oskar, being very self-depended, is convinced that the real owner of the key can lead him to the acute answers about his dead father. Hot Fuss is Hot Stuff

I recently obtained the new album of “The Killers”. I do like them due to their chilly style they perfectly worked in each songs. My favourite track called “All These Things That I’ve Done” has the best lyrics that I’ve listened to in the last years.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
The Killers

My first thought when I heard about this band was not that good. You know, there are that loads of garage bands that are trying to rule the world with their (lousy?) rock’n'roll ambitions… But I completely dealed ill. In my opinion they really earned the “The” in their band name like real great and terrific rock bands – such as “The Strokes”, “The Offspring” etc.
Lying on your couch, being sprinkled by this sound, I found a chilly atmosphere.

A conclusion: Neat rocky accords. Cool voices. Thoughtful lyrics.

Anyway… I just can recommend you this CD. It’s worth buying. Visit itunes.com or amazon.de to buy this hot fuss ehhhhh stuff.
