The Times Are A Changing (More or Less)
The Guardian Art and Design put together a grid of everyday design where you can watch nearly 60 years in the change. Design items like corn flakes or cloths for flight attendants seem to go back and forth in time, picking up an idea there, changing it, tweaking it, putting some shiny Photoshop effect or differently colored hat on there and here we go.
Click onto the image to get to the actual grid that gives you even more insight on the item displayed.
The only constant is change.
Starting from the 50s to the 60s to the 70s… You get the idea, don’t you?
[inspired by amyhoy's tweet who by the way thinks the 80s sucked]
