Chicago so far in three words: Urban. Beach. Deep-dish.

This city seems to have it all. All I want. Going out and chatting in a bar. Taking the architecture boat ride. Hanging out on the beach. Food! And much more. I’ve been very busy the last couple of days but I’m clearly having a really great time and can’t believe half of my time is over already. I know one thing, I’ll be back.

Doing my superhero morning routine as I just got up.

May this journey begin.

I’m not exactly traveling space, but I will land this afternoon in Chi-Town O’Hare. Fingers crossed that my super-short layover in Dusseldorf is not a problem. Here some fun facts for the airport-short cut savvy and jet lag cure experts…

My flight itinerary: VIE - DUS, DUS - ORD.

Expected travel duration:  11 hours and 15 minutes.

Time zone difference: 7 hours.

Expected visits to the restroom once airborne: 2 (because with an empty bladder one can run faster) and 5 respectively.
